Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not keep a copy of that search. If you contact us, the message and any details you include are used only to read and answer it.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps. These entries are reviewed in aggregate for uptime, security, and broad page-use trends. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement when those services are enabled.
Why We Use It
Technical information helps operate the pages, fix faults, understand general traffic, and improve the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles from this material.
External Portals and Tools
Pages link to county and state portals, libraries, archives, and sponsored search tools. Once a link is followed, the destination’s privacy policy controls what is submitted there. The sponsored result provider has its own collection and retention practices.
Who Can Receive It
Hosting and support vendors may process ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above when those services operate. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not shared as a visitor list.
Security and Retention
The connection is encrypted, and logs are kept only for as long as the purposes above require. Because there are no accounts, this service does not hold a password or personal profile for you.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.
Your California Privacy Choices
The California Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code section 1798.100 and following, can provide rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive-data use, and avoid discrimination, depending on coverage and circumstance. Temple City Residents Directory keeps little personal data, so a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and applicable logs. Use the Contact page to ask. The California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 through 7931.000, governs records held by public custodians, not the private reference. Requests to remove or correct a deed, court entry, voter record, or city file belong with that custodian.
